It's actually disheartening how much AutoCAD is still used, at least down in Europe here in Belgium. You'll find nearly a thousand jobs at any one time whereas the next best thing becomes Inventor with a mere hundred left.
So if it isn't horrific 2D, it's still Autodesk. Heaven help us!

Same thing happens here in Portugal.
Most of the Civil Engineering companies still use AutoCAD, however most of the Mechanical Engineering companies are already using 3D parametric CAD software for a few years now.
SolidWorks is widespread here (every college/university/training center is using it to teach new CAD students).
