Autocad 2009 shade dissapears while zooming?

Hello,

Does anyone know why my 3d model shade dissapears on some pieces while I zoom in & in the shaded mode (realistic visual style)? it's almost as if there is a certain distance and the it happens?

Any help would be appreciated

Open OPTIONS and go to the SYSTEM tab. In there open the Performance Settings and then uncheck the degrading options that you wish. Bare in mind that this will likely slow AutoCAD. If you need any more help then you can always catch me at
