Authorized Inspector

Hi,
I have two year boiler and pressure experience on ASME Code and also BSc in Mechanical Engineering,

I am thinking becoming Authorized Inspector,

Do you suggest? Does this job have good salary?
Could you please advice.

Does salary really matter is you love the work? I've seen people go after careers because of the $$$$$ only to be disillusioned years later. If you like the work and you're good....I mean a technical expert and your career is managed correctly then the money will roll in......
