I designed this detail to provide shear wall extends to the existing roof diaphragm. (see attached). Is there a "liquid nail" or similar glue with approved shear values to be used as a replacement to the fastening from above the roof sheathing to prevent from disturbing existing roof cover? Is there a better way of continuous connection between the shear wall and the roof diaphragm?
