ATOS white light scanning

I have been using an ATOS scanner on and off for a year for various things but I finally have a need to bring the data into a true solid model (or at least surface model). I have Solidworks Scan to 3D, but have very mixed results getting from the seemingly good mesh in GOM software to a solid model or a surface model. Anybody work with this much?
