ASTM F36 Compressibility and Recovery

As per specification of the gasket, the compressability and the recovery are said to be 15% and 65% for the sea water application and indicated as ASTM F36A. But some of the vendors like Klinger has indicated the values with ASTM F36J. What are these F36A and F36J? I am not able to get any information on this. Thanks to clarify.
