Hi,

I am looking for Strain-Life or failing that Stress-Life fatigue coefficients for the above steel plate. My usual sources (ASM Handbook Vol 19 and the ASM "Atlas of Fatigue Curves") don't seem to have it. Can anyone help?

Page 968 of ASM HANDBOOK Volume 19 has a table with some fatigue properties for 950X, which is an SAE designation for HSLA steels with essentially identical composition and property requirements as ASTM A 572 Grade 50. Choose the data that has the closest fit in terms of tensile properties and hardness. I doubt you will find anything better than this in the public domain.
