Hello,
I asked during bid phase an ASTM A358 Class 1 pipe. The Vendor offered the Class 3 instead.
The only difference is that Class 1 is a double welded pipe whereas Class 3 is single welded pipe. Both pipes are 100% radiographed.
Any of you see any concern to accept this deviation, namely Class 3 instead of Class 1? I don't see any.
