I am trying to find the yield strength of ASTM A193 Grade B16 at 900 deg F. Can anyone tell me where to go to find this information? So far my feable attempts have been unawarding. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Fig. 2.3.1.1.1 in MIL-HDBK-5H shows that low-alloy steels (the classification they use for a Cr-Mo-V type steel) would retain approximately 50 % of their tensile strength at 900 F, for an exposure time of 1/2 hour. You can obtain this document from the following website (warning: HUGE DOWNLOAD):

You can download a smaller version from some other website-- do a search of Eng-Tips for MIL-HDBK-5, as it it has been mentioned frequently.

Other potential sources for this type of information would be books from ASM International (
