assessment of EMI coating shielding thickness?

I would like to know how i could assess the thickness of a nickel over copper plated coating in order to obtain a EMI shielding. The most radiating noise frequency should be around 350 Mhz. Is there a formula to calculate the thickness and the effectiveness of each layer?
