Is there a utility or macro out there that will give a detailed BOM from the assembly environment. I am using one at the moment but it requires a degree of formating to be usable.

What I am after is a few of the properties (description, dwg No) and a part count.

Yeah, Lenny has a great macro for that. With a little bit of editing you can send that to an external file for Database work too.

aamoroso,

Do you know if it is also possible to have that external file automatically update each time the drawing is changed?

just curious??
