ASSEMBLY LOADING

HELLO,

I have one more requirement as below.
I have Main assembly folder, i contains the folders A,B,C,D and i have created the sub-assemblies A,B,C,D from the parts in the folders A,B,C,D and saved in the Main assembly folder.
Now I created the main assembly.prt in the Main assembly folder and added the sub-assemblies A,B,C,D then saved the Main assebmly.and then closed.
Now when i open ,no parts loaded but managed to open by setting the load options set AS SAVED as i m the (UG user) but if the non UG user wants to open the main Assy without load options set AS SAVED in his UG session( As he dose not know UG),he is facing problem .

Please can any body suggest the best ways.
I am using UGNX 8.5

So would the non-NX user want to view only the drawing, or the model also ?

Are the files on a network location or on your local harddrive?
If local harddrive, are the folders in a public location or under your user account?

Local harddrive files will not be accessible from another computer.
Directories under your 'home' folder will not usually be accessible to another user on the same computer.

If your NX session has the load options set to "As-saved" a bookmark generated while the main assembly is opened will capture the load options and use those load options when opening the main assembly via the bookmark file. Use "Save Bookmark" with the option menu set to the default that includes components and load options.

The bookmark file can be use from windows explorer (double click) or drag and drop to the NX root window or from open part dialog or from the history palette or the file recently opened list. The bookmark file can be stored in any directory. It does not have to be located with the main assembly. The bookmark (plmxml) file can be e-mailed to the other user and they can store the book wherever it suits them (including on a shared network directory).

As Ben suggested, local files need to be exposed via shares - mapped drive letters for shares need to be consistent for all users (and unc paths can be used to avoid that issue).
