assembly/ fade

Hi this is my first topic on this forum, please be patient

i have a problem when i'm editing a part inside the Assembly inviroment, the parts not being edited is supposed to become transperent, but they dont. i havent got a clue where to look for the settings about this.

Well come to the forum !

Open Properties.
In time to become familiar with the window you will find what you are looking for.
As I remember well you can find Properties in Tools tab but is also a button on the toolbar (is blue).

thanks for the quick reply.


but i didtry "options\doc properties, and resetting all colour settings to default, but no luck.

Yes. It is Options not Properties. Sorry for that.
So:
Open Options window, go to tab System Options, choose Display/Selection (left pane).
Now, in the right pane go to Assembly transparency for in context edit and make the settings.

That must be all to do (I hope).
