I made some assembly cuts (holes) in my assembly. I later copied one of the parts that had these holes from the assembly to make another detail item. Now I don't want these holes in this detail. How can I delete them?

DUH!... Nevermind, I got it.

FYI Assy features create hidden instances in the intersected parts and as they are hidden can't be seen in the .prt

This has always puzzled me. I must be overlooking something, how then can you modify assembly cuts once they have already been made??

Thanks

Jason

Jason,

All you have to do to modify a feature on a part that was created in assy. is to go into the assy., highlight the part you want to modify, rmc, select activate, now you are modifying only the activated part in assy. mode so you could grab references from other parts.
