how & where could cutout option be used in assembly??
 
an example could be... when two components are assembled
and then reamed for the dowel hole. In such a case, both
the individual components will only have a pilot hole say
dia 10 in their respective part drawings and a Dowel hole
say 12H7 in the assembly drawing for a dia 12 dowel.
