I hope that this isn't just the nature of the beast!

I have a part in an assy that has (2) config's. Both config's have some features suppressed making them both different parts. I have suppressed this part inside my assy to help speed things along and then unsuppressed this part. Both configurations were there like they should be, but all of my features were unsuppressed. Any ideas on how to keep the features as configured no matter if the part is suppressed or not????

If you suppress a part at the assembly level it will suppress the features as well. The configs at the assembly level will control what parts are suppressed, not the features.

I hope this helps,

Chotchie ... If the part is configured correctly at the part level, supressing & unsupressing it at the assy level should not affect the suppression state of the features of the part.
If that's what's happening, then either you or the software is doing something wrong.

Can you explain in more detail how you are creating the part configs, or upload an image of the FM tree, expanded to show the relative parts?

[cheers]
