I was thinking it was possible to pattern a component in an assembly to follow a sketch/path. I can not find in any info on how to do this, I have found the info for patterning a feature in a part but not a component in an assembly. Am I wasting my time thinking this is possible, my memory has been known to fail me before.

Thanks,
Scorch

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

You can't do a curve-driven pattern in an assembly. You can do a feature driven pattern, but the feature must either be a pattern or a hole wizard hole. You can do a work-around with a dummy part with a curve driven pattern then use that pattern to drive a pattern in the assembly. Pretty lame I know, but I'm growing to expect that.
