Assembly analysis

Hi all


I just tried to do an assembly analysis in cosmosworks. i could not procced since the simulationxpress command is not accepting the assembly model.


i could able to do analysis for a part with same material.


can any one help me how to do an assembly analysis assing two different material.


for example a plug and pin.


plug has cast iron


pin has Steel.

in cosmosworks (now called Solidworks simulation),


you can do analysis on an assembly


for your case, you should have two parts, thus you have two meshes.


You need to add a"Connector" to link the meshes together before analysis.


Assembly Mates areNOT in effect there.
