Does anybody work on design of asphalt storage and handling? For intermittent pumping of asphalt from port to Tank farm does some did it with flushing the pipelines with liquid hydrocarbons? What is the effective means of recovery of asphalt and flush liquid hydrocarbons?
Does anybody new of any sources books,data, and standards for these? Thank you

For the design of the storage tank, I have used API 650 with good results.
