Is it required by SNT-TC-1A, 2006 edition that the actual percentages for the general, specific, practical exams and composite score be listed on the certification document. I have always just indicated PASS. I seem to remember an article in Materials Evaluation stating that they do not. Is there a way to research old editions of ME on line?
Thanks

It depends on what your written practice says and whether the customer approves the written practice as written.

cjgrass,

SNT-2006 paragraph 9.4.8 states the "composite grade(s) or suitable evidence of grade" be a part of the certification records maintained on file by the employer. SNT does not define a "certification document" per se. Knowing most auditors come to town with a checklist that they have to complete, I try to put all the listed items on the same piece of paper (a certification record) to make their job easier, which makes my job easier. But a 'single piece of paper record' is not required by SNT.
