A few times ago I asked information about ASN and URS screw threads. In this moment, I have some news about these screw threads. After a lot of time, I am lastly able to clarify the problem of ASN and URS screw threads. The ASN screw thread is a French trapezoidal screw thread whit profile angle 30°. ASN is the name of the standard and not the symbol of the screw thread. URS is a Swiss Trapezoidal screw thread. Therefore, no one is American screw thread and I did not find any references that screw threads are used in United States.
