I have been working through Example 3 of STS-1 2006.
I have worked through up to the point of producing w(z) in Table E-1.
The output in the table is 12x the answers I get.
That makes me wonder if the "12" in the denominator is correct in equation 4-2.
I worked through the units.
"I(bar z)" is unitless, qz is lb/ft^2, D is in feet.
Cancelling units produces lb/ft.
Which is the correct units.
But should the "12" really be in the equation?
Or, am I missing something incredibly simple as is usually the case.
