ASME software

[REGRUMBLE]

Our buisness is looking for a good software package that will keep track of inventory, estimating, engineering etc that is also ASME compliant for MTR's, NDT, Welder reports etc. We have alreday looked at most of the commercial programs and cannot find one the suits a plate shop doing vessels. Anyone have a sugestion.

I don't think you will find one that does everything you want.

Defininitely not going to find a "canned" software package that encompasses everything you're looking for here. If you've got the capital, the best bet is to invest in a custom software package (these don't come cheap - I think the last time we looked into it, it was a six figure investment for version 1.0). Otherwise just go with the canned packages you like best, that will minimize your double entry.
