Trying to find the maximum allowed radial clearance between vessel hole and nozzle outside diameter. Ie, the max gap between the drum shell and a nozzle welded with a combination groove/fillet welds from both sides.

I did find a requirement in PW.16.6 that refers to figure PW.16.1 (AA) which is clear. However, that particular instance was referenced "Necks and tubes to and including NPS 6 attached from one side only".

This doesn't apply to me in this particular instance as I am looking at a connection that is to be welded on both sides.

I do have an idea of what it should be, just trying to find the official word on it

There are none....sound engineering judgement + WPS.

I assumed as much after digging. Thanks for the reply.
