Can anyone verify whether it is really required to re-qualify welders every 2 years under the ASME Safety Code Act. A customer claims this is the case, but this particular customer frequently asserts things that turn out to be incorrect. He claims it is the law in Alberta, Canada, but I have not heard of this before since I am not from Canada. Any Canadians out there familiar with this?
