Hi

I wish to merge to two PQRs using ASME IX QW 200.4 reference.

PQR1:
GTAW+SAW Process
P1 Gr 2 welded to AISI 4130
Test coupon Thickness: 42mm
PWHT 635 +-10 deg. C for 4 hours

PQR2:
SMAW Process
P1 Gr 1 welded to AISI 4130
Test coupon thickness: 25.4mm
PWHT 635 +-10 Deg. C for 4 hours

I want to use GTAW process form PQR 1 and combine with PQR 2 to make a GTAW + SMAW Procedure. I presume that I will not be able to use this procedure where impact testing is required. Will that be correct?

The PWHT Temperature for the PQR Coupon is 635 +-10 Deg. C. How much variation can I allow in the WPS? Can I make it 635 +-20 Deg. C?

The PWHT Time mentioned in the PQR is 4 hours regardless of the coupon thickness. Can I change it 1 hour / inch for lesser or higher thicknesses?
