Hallo guys,

i do have a question i have a flange calculation where i do exceed the limit for g1

i do have g1>5xg0 therefore the calculation uses 5xg0 as a maximum value in the calculation.

But i cannot find this in the ASME Division 1 Appendix 2 Chapter.

Can anyone help me where i do find this limitation?

Thank you BR Stefan

soletto, I can only relate this to the 1:3 hub slope limit in Fig 6. Not sure where the ratio of 5 is coming from.

What do the "s" subscripts mean? What are the hub dimensions? Why is g1s shown as 20mm, but 15mm used?

Regards,

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

question could be solved already. Thank you!
