Has anyone been successful in obtaining a non-subscription based PDF copy of the 2025 ASME BPVC from one of the approved resellers. I'm more than happy to support ASME with my money, but being forced into an enterprise level subscription for a single user PDF is wearing my good will thin. If ASME is going to require code users obtain the books from a limited list of resellers, than those resellers should be obligated to provide flexible access to the content.
Why can I pay $1000 for a physical code section, but a single years digital subscription, that requires no shipping or printing, also costs $1000. For one year. I'm at the point where I'm just going to buy the physicals, scan them in, buy an AI subscription (I'm sure they've already been trained on it), and upload it so it can get converted to PDF with links.
