ASCE 7 wind?

HI everybody. I am Supervisor engineer in Steel building company.
I have a Question regarding ASCE 7 For enclosed & Partially enclosed.

My question is: Shall i consider the personal doors, louvers and roll-up doors
as opening in the building so all the buildings will be partially enclosed? or i can assume these as Temporary opening not a permanent opening so my building will be enclosed.

I've changed on this. I used to consider them as openings. Now I consider them closed. They're (hopefully) designed for the same wind as the rest of the building. If there's a bad windstorm, I'm hoping that whoever is in the building has the good sense to close the doors.
To me openings are louvers that are always open.

If you look at the criteria for an "opening" it is a contiguous area of 4sf or larger. For rolling or roll-up doors, the area around the door is open and waterproofed by a flap gasket. When the wind blows hard the gasket opens and depending on the door size, the gap can exceed 4 sf. Have seen this in particular for small aircraft hangars and large bay doors.

Regarding your consideration, I agree to Jed, openings like porches, patios and other that can not be closed to me are taken in account.

On the other hand you have to use the value qi to design interior elements.
