Hello,

I have a five storey building that includes 2 stories of underground parking. It has type 1b and type 4 irregularity per table 12.3-1. My lateral system is concrete shear wall and rigid conc. diaphragm. As per Cl 17.3.2 a 3D modelling is required.
Could anyone suggest a suitable 3D program.

Thanks,

RISA 3D can handle this. If you want to talk to someone or get a sample program, look at or call 949-951-5815.

Yes, it's pretty simple to model shearwalls and diaphragms with RISA. All you do is setup some plate elements and copy them up.
