Greetings all!

I was not able to use component array 'From pattern feature', if patterned feature is CSYS.
Is this an absolute limitation, or maybe some specific options were not observed?

That's correct, despite the fact that you CAN create a 'Pattern' of CSYS's, they are not supported when it comes to being reference-able for creating a Component Array. The component needs to be constrained to edges or faces of a patterned feature. Datums, which includes Datum Planes, Datum Axis, Points and CSYSs as well as simple curves, do not have any faces nor edges and therefore are not suitable for being 'referenced'.

This is disappointing. Sometimes datum geometry is the only option. For example imagine a weldment - often there's no any physical edge or hole, just a spatial relationship between components which are fixed with an external fixture and just welded. An ability to utilise 'From pattern feature' array through CSYS would be a boost for such tasks. Any hope that this tool will be upgraded in the future? Can ER help here?

Certainly, contact GTAC and have them open an ER. I agree, this would be useful.
