Are duct inspections part of any regulatory requirements (PSM, MI, API Codes, etc.)? I cannot find any information regarding ducting inspection requirements.

I don't even know what design Code they follow (not B31.3 apparently).

Any help with clarification is welcomed. Thanks!

In the UK their visual inspection is recommended on an annual basis. This is stated in CIBSE guide M.

* Finding a solution is great * Knowing how to implement it is fantastic * Believing it is the only one and best is naive ?

What's the service of the duct, i.e. utility or hazard process?
And, what's the purpose of the inspection if requested, i.e. mechanical or structural integrity or both, material damage or corrosion, leakage, blockage, etc?

"Ducts" implies air conditioning systems so have a look at ASHRAE.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
