I'm looking for the requirements for Class 1 Division 2 environments. Are these two different names for the same document?

Thanks,

Z

I have no idea of what NEC 500 is but I am very intimate with NFPA 700, Article 500. For hazardous (classified) location electrical equipment, NEC Article 500 is the criteria most likely adopted if the project is in a US or Canadian jurisdiction.

NEC = NFPA 70

NEC 500 = NFPA 70 Article 500

Best to you,

Goober Dave
