Hello,
I just need second thought here,
We ran stress report for arbor coil, which sitting on manifold, to calculate stiffness requirements. Stress program we use carpipe. Stress induce by coil at manifold turn out to be 10 to 20 times than dead weigh to coil and fluid. Which is quick reference.
Would like to know if there are hand calculation example to calculate manifold stiffness requirement. I have use Roark's formula Table 9.2 case 1. And ASME B31.3 wall thickness is OK.
