Apps for desingnig electical system

Iam interested in getting use of computer application that used by engineers in industry (NOT SCHOOLS ) for designing electrical and protection power systems and used for fault analysis . For instant , ETAP, unfortunately its not free and not compatible with MACBOOK .
ANY Ideas for apps like this !!

I guess not many electrical design software are compatible with MacOS. But you can try to use a virtualization software to install Windows on a virtual machine. On my old macbook I had a separate partition with Windows to run my engineering software.
