I'm assuming the answer is no, but is there a way to apply all the document properties from one part into another?

Example is a part created three years ago prior to us setting up standard part templates. Now, we open the old part and don't like having the grid on, seeing old dimension styles, etc. and would like to populate the old part's document properties with those from our standard templates. Is there a way to do this without manually changing each property?

Thanks.

Copy doc options is an excel file that has 3 sheets for copying and setting your options in a part, assembly, and drawing file. Simply open the part with your desired settings, and then hit the "Get options" button on the CopyPrtOption tab. Your settings are now saved. Now open the part file you want to change, and hit the "Set options" button. Do the same for assembly and drawing. I have used 1.6 for a long time, but the new 1.7 version has settings for 2006.
