I have a project where I have been tasked with designing a lug to be temporarily attached to a pressure vessel. The lug will be used as a rigging point to hang a chainfall for hoisting a nozzle into place that will then be welded to the vessel. It is sort of a lifting lug in reverse. Would ASME BTH-1 be suitable for this or is there a better choice?
