Hi,
Basically, your model should be alright, according to my own experience with I-DEAS the error message is due to a programme error. That happens even to the best CAE system...
You might want to try the following:
1. Delete your solution set. Save the model and create a new solution set (with the same settings as before). Try to run the model solve again. Most likely, it'll work out perfectly. (Well, don't ask me why...)
2. If that doesn't work, export your complete model (including the FE-model and everything else) into a universal file. You could delete the solution set beforehand, because as far as I can say that causes all the trouble. Create a completely new model file, import the universal file, create a new solution set if necessary and try running the solve again.
3. There's a special I-DEAS forum on Eng-Tips with dozens of I-DEAS experts around, so for the next time.....
Please let me know if that was any help for your problem!
Cheers,
Daniel
