What is the intepretation of the clause 10.7 and 10.8 regarding fireproofing.If I have fix monitor for LPG Spherical Vessel, should the fire proofing be applied on the leg structural. What is the API2218 intepretation.

Instead of insulating the LPG tank about installing a fire sprinkler system. I had a LPG tank farm requiring a fire safety analysis and fire proofing w/ fire resistant insulation was an option however ultimately tanks were to be mounded since I did not have enough info on insulation and water supply was marginal for fire sprinkler system.
Insofar as fire resistant insulation I would definetely want it to be applied to the support legs to the tank. your questio

Rephrase: If the LPG spherical vessel equipied with the Deluge syatem and Fix water monitor to fighting the fire, do we need the fireproofing for leg? ( refr to API2510/2510A).My interpretation as per clause 10.7 and 10.8 is not required. Correct??.

No, but prudence would dictate that the legs are included in the spray pattern.
