I am involved in calculation of NGL quantity we import to storage tanks on daily basis. For this calculation, a turbine type flow meter/ counter is used. we do temperature and pressure correction (calculate CTL and CPL) by using API MPMS standard section 11.1.
But I am in doubt which tables should be used. We are using table 24 (old version) for years. But it seems that we shall use table 33 or new tables 23E and 24E for LPG and NGL.
The composition of our liquid feed is approximately:
2% methane
2000 ppm CO2
15% Ethane
35% Propane
25% Butane
23% C5+
If someone has experience in this field please help.
