Hi everyone,
Visual inspection performed on Air Cooled Heat Exchanger revealed some tubes are warped, twisted and with sagging. Tubes are SA-179, OD 1", tube-tubesheet joint is fully expanded in two grooves instead of seal weld.
Location of the damage is about 6' from the back side of header boxes.
What are the acceptance criteria in order to maintain the exchanger running safely and reliable?
Other than a joint fully expanded in grooves instead of seal weld, What should be my immediate concern in terms of potential leak?
I'll really appreciate your feedback
Regards and have a great day
