API 5L GR B PIPE MATERIALS

In one of our tender document, it says for pipes materials for tankfarm piping work as

'API 5L GR B or higher ERW or spiral welded'

My question is whether all these are equal or different in spec.? since i am responsible to release the tender for bidding.

It will be appreciated if any one clarifys me.

They refer to lots of different standards,please tell us the exact norms.

The standard refers to ANSI/ASME B31.3 PIPING
