Hello Everybody,
I need a clarification on a section of API 17F (ISO13628-6), par. 4.5.5.6, Flushing of SCSSV Hydraulic Circuit:
Paragraph states:
"Provisions for flushing the hydraulic circuit from control module to SCSSV during installation and in the operational phase shall be considered as part of front-end engineering. This function can be implemented by using a dedicated flushing valve in the SCM. Flushing operations shall not result in HP system pressure drop that can affect other wells."
Question:
1) Could you clarify the meaning of this statement?
2) How is this realized in practice?
Thanks for the replies in advance.
