Dear All,
I have background in inspection of in-service pipelines tanks and vessels. Currently API 653 certified. I'm planning to take API 510 and 570 but there are too much people in this field as I noticed. I want to take the API 1169 but I'm not quite sure about employment in this field since API 1169 is still new and I doubt if the guys(procurement) preparing scope of work for pipeline construction includes API 1169 personnel. I'm working in the middle east and all I see in the field who works as QA/QC or inspector aren't API certified.
Any piece of advice? Appreciate any comment.
