Anybody suggest suppliers for 34.5kV, current limiting fuses for installation in metal enclosed switch.

Already looked at SIBA, Driescher, Efen.

Cooper Bussman has current-limiting British Standard fuses to 72.5 kV - not sure how high their North American E-rated range goes. Try
The aforementioned S and C is a good choice, except that I don't think S and C offers current limiting fuses - they have philosophical differences against using current limiting fuses as I recall.

gordonl - are the fuse clips/holder existing? Are there particular dimensional requirements you have such as DIN or IEC dimensional standards (just guessing from the manufacturers you have tried already - they all sound European).

Bussman also has a DIN line to 36 kV but I don't think they are current limiting.

These are S&C switches which were supplied with Driescher fuses which have been failing to interupt. They are DIN standard but I would retrofit if neccesary.

I tried Bussman, thank you, but their DIN are too low in current rating, and their E rated are too low in interupting.

Ideally I need 63A and 40kA interupting, and 250A 40kA, both at 34.5kV.

The only thing I've found are the G&W Power Assisted Fuses, but they are very expensive. I would require 4 sets to replace my 250A fuses.

Any other suggestions would be equally appreciated.
