Hoping to not reinvent the wheel here on some nozzle additions, can anybory out there save the day?

You are not re-inventing the wheel - you are doing what most professional engineering companies do and that is qualify their own welding procedures.
If you do not have any qualified welding procedures and you don't seem keen on doing any what are you doing being involved with pressure vessel work ?
