I am trying to generate a curve for the vapour pressure of liquid magnesium metal as a function of temperature. If anyone has a reference I would be very greatful. Alternatively if anyone knows the Antoine coefficients for pure magnesium that would help me out.
Thanks in advance,

The vapor pressure of Mg is fairly well-known, as one production method is reduction + distillation.

From Metallurgical Thermochemistry, 5th Edn., p. 366 (1979), with T in oK:

log pMg(s), Torr = -7780/T – 0.855 log T + 11.41 [298K to mp]

log pMg(liq), Torr = -7550/T – 1.41 log T + 12.79 [mp to bp, 1378 K]

A more recent work, ASM Metals Reference, 3rd Edn., p. 158 (1993) gives tabular data from which you can derive an equation:
P, atm T, oC
0.0001 516 (solid)
0.001 608 “
0.01 725 (liquid)
0.1 886 “
0.50 1030 “
1.0 1107 “

Hope this helps,
Ken
