I hope that I have the correct forum for this.
I have found another use for the material that is used for anti-fatigue floor matting but I have almost no knowledge of this material. I've heard it described as an "elastomeric rubber material" but it is commercially available through Home Depot and it is perfect for the use that I have devised. Home Depot gave me a distibutor name but the distributor won't give me their manufacturer other than to tell me that they were Asian.

To be exact, I would like to know;
-What is it exactly and how is it made?
-The mats appear extruded but can this material also be
molded into forms?
-Any suggestions anyone has for finding a manufacturer.

Thanks

You could have the material analysed using Infa Red Spectrometer. This would determine 'elastomer' type. These material testing labs, could then match the result to a library of listed material suppliers.

Hope this is of some help,
