Hello guys

Working on some fatigue analysis for pressure connector.

I need to get fatigue result for it. It is loaded with internal pressure , two external load and one cylic load.

I tried to make solution combination.

In first I put all load inculuding cyclic load ( as static force ) , other one without that.

In fatigue tool I put type : non proportional.

Mean stress theory goodman.

My problem is: Von Misses stress is 320 MPa but I get equivalent alternating stress only 5MPa. Cyclic load is only 25 kg so if you thing about alternating stress it is possible. But still I m expecting something from pre-stress.

Any advice about this mean stress.

Best regards
