Is there any way to import a file from ANSYS into inventor? I have been given a code to create a large sample that only works in ANSYS, and I now need to make an assembly in inventor or solidworks. Can I save the sample and then open it up in another cad program? Thanks

I know Patran allows you to export CAD models, but I don't know if ANSYS lets you do the same thing.

In Patran, I have my FEM and new geometry. I then export my model to Parasolid or another CAD file type that ONLY contains my geometry. I don't think CAD file types can contain FEM/mesh, so if your "sample" is only fem/mesh, I don't think you can export to a CAD program.
